My great passion in life is in befriending the horse. Through experience, observation and personal growth, I have evolved in my understanding of their emotional capacity, and with how to connect and train in way that preserves both the unspoken language, and the integrity of the horse. With kindness and mindful horsemanship, my clients rediscover their confidence, and improve on their partnerships.
Sunnyluck Equine was established in 2002, with a small APHA breeding program that focused on All-Around Amateur Horses. As my personal competitive goals ventured into reining, Sunnyluck's breeding program soon followed, and eventually focused on AQHA reining and working cow horses. When it comes to stallions, I have high expectations. Not necessarily in their performance records, as much as the overall package. I am fortunate in that my stallion Tejon Please, has raised the bar. Not only is he royally bred, but he is kind, loves to please, has an exceptional work ethic, and is still 100% sound.
