-Began riding at age 6 with San Domenico Riding Stables, San Anselmo California

-Marin County Pony club member 1989-1992: Rode with Los Altos Hunt Club

-"H-Team" 4H member, San Juan Island (Washington) 1993-1998

-Local shows 1989-1998

-1995-98 Fountain Valley School, Colorado Springs

  • Competed in Team Penning, Team Roping, Barrel Racing & Draft horse driving

  • High School Drill Team Captain 1998

-Started training project horses, colts & personal show horses in 1997

-2003 Founded Sunnyluck Performance Horses in Fort Collins (Co)

-Colorado State University: BA in Equine Science 2003

-2000-2003: Trained with Mark Guynn (nominated NRHA professional of the                                            year in 2020) Berthoud, Co.  ​

Training 2004-2020

-Worked colts and "problem*" horses for friends and local trainers 

-Trained 4H/Club/APHA and AQHA Show horses and Ranch horses

-Focused on Reining, Ranch horses and coaching riders new to competeting at A-                  Circtuit Level Shows.  Owned and worked with many breeds including                           Arabians, Thoroughbreds, Fjords, Quarter ponies, and rescue horses.  

-Relocated to Gig Harbor and established NHEC
